Misogi casts an enchanting spell over Night Lovell's "Dark Light"

The latest treasure I’ve uncovered on Soundcloud goes by the name of Night Lovell, an ominous rapper, coming to us from Canada’s thriving music scene. I continued to find more gold as I came across an astounding remix of Night Lovell's standout track "Dark Light." Tackled by Dubai-based producer Misogi, this one is for my fellow fans of dark magic.

Misogi layers a haunting vocal loop over Night Lovell’s bars, and creates this ethereal and cinematic atmosphere reminiscent of the highly esteemed Clams Casino. Misogi released his first LP Occult earlier this month, a compelling body of work that demonstrates finesse well beyond his years. You would never guess he’s a mere 15 years old by the sophisticated and intimated qualities of his astral styling. If I were you, I’d pay close attention to this impressive young gun.

Fun fact, “Misogi” is the Japanese practice of ritual purification by washing the entire body.
