Normally, most musicians can't return from a few years hiatus without some serious stumbling blocks or, at worst, a complete failure. Not the case with Antenna Happy, who spent two decades away from the decks, only to return with a 2-track vinyl release, Pinto, just last month. Landing with an extra track on the digital version, the EP garnered praise from around the industry, including notable outlets Boiler Room and Xlr8r and venerated artists Daniel Avery and Rob da Bank.
Today the title track goes under the remix knife, as Jauge adds new layers to the original's revolving dreamscape. Hailing from the south of England, the UK producer slightly mutes the signature, circulating synths, shifting crisp claps and a twangy, but minimal, melody over the top. The result marks a solid success, and will surely put the up-and-coming artist, Jauge, on many industry radars.
Grab the remix pack on November 10th in the UK and 11th in the U.S., along with works from Ashworth, Shengi, and Winter Son.
