It’s 2 A.M, the club is hot and sweaty and the mood is right. Thumping bass and synths dripping like moist stalactites reverberate throughout the club as hot bodies writhe and collide on the dance floor. Through the neon haze you see her, you would totally swipe right, but she is like there in real life. Oh God, what do you do? Suddenly you hear a deep grinding bass line come through with a familiar vocal loop. “Wait, is that . . . . Is that Nelly Furtado?” You think this to yourself as your palms sweat and your heart races in anticipation, nervously watching her dance across the room. As the song progresses you realize it is in fact a salacious and sensual remix of Nelly Furtado and Timbaland’s classic hit “Promiscuous Girl” by the deep house doctor, Dr. Fresch. Your eyes lock, you approach each other, you dance, you get married, you have sweet raver babies, they become young prodigy DJs, they create a DJ duo that produces a song so beautiful that world peace is achieved and suddenly all is right in the world.
