Matoma extends tropical house summer with "Deep End" remix

Tropical house continues its domination this summer with Matoma's "Deep End" remix.  Matoma started summer strong with his remix of Notorious B.I.G. and Ja Rule's "Old Thing Back."  The catchy upbeat track became a huge success, garnering over 2,000,000 soundcloud listens.  He ends the season with a foray into nu-disco territory, taking on Coucheron's "Deep End."

The Norwegian producer intersperses Coucheron's pulsing bass with playful synthesizer lines to highlight Mayor Hawthorne's silky vocals.  Carefree lyrics mesh with the song's sonic vibe, making a perfect track for late summer beach trips and days by the pool.

Matoma's sound and success seem to be following the footsteps of fellow Norwegian producer, Kygo, who is about to embark on a sold out U.S. tour after signing with Sony Music earlier this summer.  No word yet on any Matoma gigs in the U.S., but at the rate he's putting out solid tropical house music, we can expect him here soon.
