Rubblebucket is an indie band originating from Brooklyn, New York. They're quirky, energetic style is what is currently attracting new listeners everyday. Their upcoming album Survival Sounds, which is out August 25, has been gathering a lot of buzz around major media, such as The New York Times.
Not only have they got the attention of media, but other major artists as well. One such artist is The M Machine, an electronic trio from California. They took the opportunity to remix one of Rubblebucket's recent single "Sound of Erasing" and make it into a synthy feel-good tune. That's not to say the original isn't vibey as well. The M Machine does it in an electronic way instead of having that indie rock feel. They add plenty of MGMT-esque electronic effects and synths to really turn the song around. The new face The M Machine gives it is a breath of fresh air. It's eclectic, yet catchy.
