“The Premix” is an interesting musical experiment set up by Californian producer Goldroom. He uploaded the vocal stem to his new single “Till Sunrise”, sung by Mammals, two weeks ago, and asked fellow producers to create a premix using only the vocal sample.
Goldroom explains, “Remixes are a big part of the creative world I live in, and it has always been important to me to give up-and-coming producers the chance to work with my songs unencumbered.”
George Hyatt has created a funky fresh premix that fits seamlessly with the vocals. It's an impressive production. He is rather inconspicuous on the web; this premix seems to be the first full-length track publicly available and it’s the best I’ve come across.
