Lido spruces up MØ's "Walk This Way" with his unique production style

Lido, in my opinion, is the hottest and most talented upcoming producer in the music scene as of current. This claim is supported by the growing success and popularity of Lido’s remixes, which average around 300,000 hits on Soundcloud with each release, a feat that concretes Lido as not just a producer, but as an artist in his own name in the electronic music scene. The mere fact that major label artists such as Aluna George and BANKS have sought him out for official remixes of their respective tracks “Superstar” and “Drowning” further corroborates Lido’s growing popularity and talent. The recent attraction of major artists to Lido is his one-of-a-kind production style, which borders between a stuttered explosive variant of trap with trace elements of juke and jersey club and cinematic, almost classical, ballads and movements of strings, which brings a rare beauty to the sound of the electronic music genre.

Now with all that said, Lido continues his string of successful remixes with the release of his “Walk This Way” remix, a soon-to-be-released single by Danish singer-song-writer MØ. Lido’s remix of “Walk This Way” provides the perfect hype for the single, with a break beat-like drum pattern, which transitions perfectly to a unique bell driven melody that only a producer like Lido could pull off. Just like a classical piece, Lido’s “Walk This Way” Remix progresses in movements, with orchestral breakdowns and a mean fake out that leads to a classic Lido explosion which prompts an epic conclusion.

With a steady stream of material coming out on almost a weekly basis, the world is bound to know the name of Lido in no time. To say the least, Lido is a bright new star that’s about to go supernova. Be sure to follow him on Soundcloud to stay up on all his latest releases and support him by buying his I Love You EP.
