British musician and producer, Morgan Visconti hardly comes without mention of his parents, producer Tony Visconti and singer Mary Hopkins, who have done work with David Bowie and The Beatles respectively. Morgan has been paving his own way musically, releasing his debut full length in May on Human Label.
The second single off the album, a track called "Ride," is more of a comforting track when compared to the first single "Can't Say Goodbye." It's said to be about "separation and trying to rationalize yearning for a time and place that may not have been perfect, but it's home." Taking on Morgan's simple style of electronic pop, "Ride" has a sense of warmth and sentiment that was characteristic of that new wave/pop sound that plagued the 80s in all the best ways.
Along with the Ride EP, you'll get Morgan Visconti's Mirror Ball Suit Remix, which we're happy to premiere to you today. This mix is aimed toward those people who want to dance. Soaring melodies and shimmering vocals backed by a solid beat making this another great track to add to that summer playlist.

Also on the EP are remixes from Francophilippe and Antenna Happy. Francophilippe does more of a dark, 80s remix and Antenna Happy goes for more of a minimal techno mix. Find the entire EP out July 15th via Human Label.
