Soothing indie rock that should help take off the heavy load of the day comes in the form of a new song from Space Daze, entitled "Line Up on the Solstice". As a solo project from Danny Rowland, who is also in the Seattle-based trio Seapony, Space Daze offers uplifting and upbeat guitar pop, where hushed sounds carry weightless tracks through the motions at a steady pace.
With a debut album entitled Follow My Light Back Home out now, "Line Up on the Solstice" is the most straightforward song on the record. Supported by a repeating acoustic guitar harmony, simplistic piano notes and a standard drum beat, Rowland's voice chimes in with an assuring presence to make for a strong accompaniment for the summer days ahead.
