Most of the time I feel late to music on a daily basis, and perhaps thats attributed to my residence on the west coast. It's tough trying to find the best music first when half the country is up 3 hours before you scouring through tunes. However, not too long ago I came across a band who happened to live just down the freeway from me in San Diego by the name of Ed Ghost Tucker. They're a four piece folk/indie pop band with a peculiar background and a passionate approach.

We haven't been exposed to too much of Tucker yet, but they just released their video for a new single called "Sofia", where the band has taken traditional synchronized swimming and morphed it into a dry land disarray of dancing. For the last three months, the band has been working with the team at SnowGlobe Studios to create their first official visual release. Collaborating closely with director Roman Arriola to accomplish this shared vision, Ed Ghost Tucker is extremely excited to share this final product with you all. The video, in its entirety, is very homegrown. They recorded the track ourselves in their makeshift home studio and sent it off to a friend by the name of Keith Milgaten for mastering. For the video aspect, they ended up using a member's living space, dancers that were friends of a good friend and choreographer Cassie Bowerman, and set design constructed by the band. It's all about who you know.

Watch Ed Ghost Tucker's "Sofia" now and keep your eyes peeled for more in the future.
