British duo Kaleida is quickly proving to be a band to watch in 2014. They burst onto the scene with their single “Think,” which had the blog world swooning over their style of minimal electronic pop. Their second single “Tropea” was another success and a more mature sounding track for the new band. Vocalist Christina Wood has such a commanding voice that perfectly complements the production and keyboards of Cicely Goulder. It’s hard not to be whisked away by the enchanting beauty.
At their third single ahead of a debut EP, the duo makes their return with a new track called “Picture You.” The dynamic melodies and chord progressions partnered with Christina’s whimsical vocals create a soundscape that really captures the band’s affinity for Nordic pop. Like their past two singles, this one is available to download from Kaleida’s SoundCloud page. Expect to see their debut EP later this year.
