Fast rising UK label Big People Music secured a gem when premiered "Pillow Talk", the first track from the mysterious Manchester based producer G.S.ONE. The futuristic R&B type vibes of the track had people hooked, and when it was announced that this was part of an EP, fans and critics alike hit fever pitch.
Today marked the released of that EP, Lucid Dreams, and it seems that G.S.ONE has gone from strength to strength. Although the identity of the man behind the music remains a mystery to a lot of people, his music has connected with people, as he blends deep bass with sexed up synths to creates a funky sound that is rare in music at the moment. Lucid Dreams is four tracks deep, which includes 3 originals and a remix from T Vicious.
You can stream each track from Lucid Dreams below, and the project is available to buy right now on Juno. Also, Big People Music are having a joint birthday and G.S.ONE EP launch party this Friday at The Roundhouse in Manchester and you can get your tickets from here. Also, BPM's Madam X is part of an all star line up at Factory nightclub tonight, as part of a fundraiser for much loved Mancunian raver Salford Jon, who was killed in an unprovoked attack in January. The event tonight is a fundraiser for the two little daughters he has left behind, and all proceeds go into a trust fund. You can donate any amount of money you want to via this link, and if you're in or around Manchester tonight it's only £8 to get in to see the likes of Goldie, Marcus Intalex and DJ Q to name just a few.
