Capital Steez was a member of Pro Era, and one that fans and critics alike were watching closely as he bloomed alongside Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Chuck Strangers, and the rest of the young kids blooming out of New York's talented and youthful group.
Unfortunately, his time came too early, and we will only have the work he's left to show us all that could have been. Luckily, there's still some new things emerging, like visuals for the track by SMTH, titled "Last Straw," off of the SMTH Project. Starting with an ode to the late rapper, the visuals for the song go through a story of a tape as it builds audience and fanbase.

What's really stunning is that we manage to get a little bonus look at Steez actually rapping, and it sends shivers down my arms and legs as it is the last one he recorded. Captivating and silencing, this is not a track or video to miss.
RIP Capital Steez, gone too soon but never forgotten.
