As we just start to get into our stride in 2014, and slowly rid ourselves of those new years hangovers, we might have the antidote to help you settle back into your everyday life a little more easily, in the shape of a dope new track from Cali based rapper Kid Ink.
The 27-year-old Los Angeles native has today released debut full length album on RCA Records entitled My Own Lane, and we have a stream of arguably the strongest track taken from the LP (in my own opinion anyway), "Murda". This dark and gritty urban banger shows a more sinister side to Kid Ink, as he mixes his bragadocious lyrics over a murky, distortion driven beat. On hand to drop in a guest verse is arguably one of the shining stars of 2013, G.O.O.D Music's Pusha T. King Push, who's album My Name Is My Name entered in at number two on our Top 50 Albums of 2013 list, ahead of releases from the likes of Drake and Danny Brown amongst others, delivers another golden verse which features talk of molly, Dom Perignon and a few bad bitches.
"Murda" is taken from Kid Ink's full-length debut My Own Lane, an 18-track album that is packed to the brim with features from some of the hip hop realms hottest artists including A$AP Ferg, Meek Mill, Tyga and Chris Brown.
