LA-based artist BANKS has been impressing us all with the work she’s been releasing this past year. Her tracks, which have caught the attention of artists and producers like The Weeknd (who she's currently on tour with), Lil Silva, and Snakehips, never fail to combine delightful vocals and a good beat.
BANKS has teamed up with producer SOHN for a second time to create an alloy of harmony and drama with "Waiting Game". Eerie vocals and a dissonant piano start the song off with a hauntingly simple sound, while dark synths laid against BANKS’ angelic voice make for a powerful sonic contrast. Thoughtful additions like pitch variation and echoing make for nice touches to an already impressive song.
