London-town’s roster of emerging talent doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon and the amount of emerging young talent coming from across the pond is far more than impressive. The creative beatmaking connoisseur, Matt Relton, aka Kidnap Kid, jumped on our radar about a year ago when he dropped his atmospheric track “Vehl” via the future forward label Black Butter Records. The track claimed the iTunes US ‘Best Electronic Song of 2012’ and was completed all whilst finishing university.

Once again in partnership with BBR, we are given his latest release “Survive”. Delivering a beat bathed in soulful house instrumentation and smooth melodies, Relton puts his production chops on display. His new track ‘Survive’ is another slice of sophisticated, dark house with Kidnap Kid’s trademark subtle sensuality. A groovable winner and infectious vibe prove that Kidnap Kid is here to stay. Keep this young vitruoso on your radar because we certainly can’t get enough of signature synths.
