With only three weeks left until Random Access Memories hits shelves, Daft Punk are nearing the end of their Collaborators series; a series that outlines artists contributions to RAM, which has already featured Pharrell Williams, Todd Edwards, Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Morodor. Within the past week two new videos from the series have surfaced featuring Animal Collective's Panda Bear and pianist Chilly Gonzales (both featured below).
It seems that the French duo are following a weekly trend, releasing videos on either Monday, or Tuesday of each week, and if this trend continues we plan on the remaining collaborators, Julian Casablancas and Paul Williams, to contribute to the series within the next two weeks. While the videos take on an interview format that only partially showcase the music from Daft Punk's upcoming album, the unique way that each artist describes their experience with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter makes each video a rewarding experience.
Episode 5: Panda Bear
"Certain types of driving rhythms just have a profound effect on people–It is not just about the rhythm it is about the actual sounds themselves"

Episode 6: Chilly Gonzales
"To be honest I don't really like collaborating, but you make exceptions for people who are in possession of some true key to the zeitgeist"
