In anticipation of the first Daft Punk album in eight years the French duo have turned the light onto the collaborators of Random Access Memories in their Intel/Vice Creators Project. With May 21 as the day that electronic duo have pinned down to launch their hyped album in the United States, they released a video today that features song previews behind a intriguing interview video.
In the interview the disco music producer Giorgio Morodor, who is credited with charting hits in the 70's and 80's, explains how Daft Punk differ from his own styles, his overall reaction to their new sound and his thoughts on the current dance music scene. He claims that as music has become more accessible Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk) have taken a step forward in dance music with Random Access Memories.
