Indiana producer, Figure, has a very distinguished sound and has been making a name for himself in his own grimy horror-step genre. His style is constantly progressing. One day we can find him freaking us out with his remix of the Halloween theme song or chilling us out with a crunchy, melodic and uplifting remix of “Lifeline” by Citizen Cope. If one thing is certain his sound is diverse and is not limited to the confines of one specific genre. He has a knack for exploring all different sounds while keeping his style at the core of each and every beat. Just recently he released a bass heavy remix of veteran rapper Aesop Rock’s “Coffee” and it has the energizing jolt of a strong cup of joe. Figure has been closing out his shows with this tune but he gave us the free download after he got Aesop’s stamp of approval. If you’re going to Waka or Spring Awakening this summer, be sure to check out his set. This man definitely knows just how to read and work a crowd. Figure gives out all of his music for free, so check out his Soundcloud for you download of this track.
