Finding new producers is exciting, but finding a producer with a mere 61 Soundcloud followers who is undoubtedly going to be a common EDM name is just brilliant – especially for somebody obsessed with it.
Out on Mark Mendes's Starter Records imprint, Canadian up and comer Maxum unites with Eugene Diveev to bring a stadium-filling progressive house monster titled "Muse." Although the layout and structure of the release is somewhat synonymous with a usual Beatport chart topper, "Muse" boasts uniquely euphoric leads and percussion in its build to give huge energy for an incredibly euphoric break. With that, it is no surprise the two producers have already received support from the likes of Thomas Gold, Fedde Le Grand and Avicii, as well as Sebastian Ingrosso's Refune Records. With Starter Recordss introducing big names to us like Paris & Simo and Ansol, this release looks like it will explode in popularity with its peak-time perfection to bring to light two new names for the electro and progressive house faithful. A track like this reminds us that matter how much we love exploring the depths of minimal house, techno, dubstep, nu disco, garage or whatever flavor is spurting from our speakers, a true progressive house anthem will always bring the most hype for mainstream listeners. In this case, Maxum and Eugene Diveev have made a mark on the current progressive stance and we've got high expectations for this debut collaboration.
