The last coverage we did of Audien featured his track “Sup,” a peek at the artist’s harder side and ability to create a diverse repertoire of music. Since then he has continued his rise to fame, having just performed in the guest spot for one of the biggest shows on the electronic airwaves, Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy. Today’s release, “Wayfarer,” sees a return to Audien’s roots with a song that reminds me much more of his work “Eventide” and “Unity” then ‘”Sup.” Light and uplifting, the track carries you towards the heavens, only to drop into a gloriously soft break. It’s the soundtrack to a beautiful day, maybe something we need on such a Monday.
