The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as a summer time mix of the week section into the weekly feature.
You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!
BASS
We're running through an all-star cast this week in the bass section. The new Certified Trap Reloaded mixture dropped last night via livemixtapes.com which means there are plenty of new EDM trapstyle tracks being released. One of which is the collaboration by CRNKN and Protohype with a track called "Boom." Also it looks like Jakwob will be releasing a new album, he recently dropped a VIP of "Turn To Stone."

FILTH
There was recently a re-release of a few Nero singles from 2009, it's definitely a lot different from their music now, more bass heavy and less melodic. But the interesting thing is that it seems (to me at least) to be a prequel of sorts to the Welcome Reality album that came out last year. Check out "End of the World" to see what I mean.

DRUM & BASS
One of the best remixes of "Spectrum" is a collaboration by a couple young producers by the names of Breeze Block and Skyro. It's beautifully melodic, a young Netsky if you will.

CHILL
Dubstep don, Plastician gets remix honors on Datsik and Kill the Noises' track "Lightspeed" which brings plenty of smooth baselines. Definitely one of my new favorites. Irish producer, Cillo dips his hand into some garage type music with his newest track "Where You Want to Be."
