Fabio Lendrum may be a name you haven’t heard before, but the British producer’s career is just beginning to flourish after a series of setbacks almost ended it before it began. Now determined to succeed regardless of personal circumstance or uncontrollable obstacle, he has forged on in the industry with Warner Records alongside the likes of Knife Party and Chase & Status. His music definitely speaks of struggle but ultimately affirms a commitment to survive against the odds.
The first track, “Out The Water”, contains darker deep house influences that balance well against the inspiring lyrics: “I’m gonna get my head out the water, tonight we turn the shadows into light.” It’s mellow, danceable, and uplifting all at once. While “Out the Water” gets the party started, his next track, “Anything’s Possible”, brings it to a whole new level. Taking a turn towards progressive, the song features intense climbs that fall into big room drops, pushed along by a deep, grinding mid.
