Singer-songwriter Lulu Simon is set to break through in 2026. In addition to the announcement of her new forthcoming EP and joining pop star Madison Beer on a world tour, Simon releases her new single "Happy Again." Driven by warm vocals and indie pop production, the new single leans on gentle tones and subtle delivery to hammer home its point.

The single centers on the feeling of living in the moment and never letting the dark thoughts keep you down. Themes of freedom and independence circle the single as the positivity radiates from the medleys. Simon does a fantastic job of displaying her wordplay in a way that makes for an enjoyable folk indie pop sound.

“‘Happy Again’ is about waking up one day and realizing that very slowly & then all at once, you’ve quietly slipped past being sad and are pleasantly surprised to find that you were healing without measuring it,” she shares. “And suddenly you’re happy and feel like yourself again.”

Simon is a breath of fresh air in the music industry, an artist who is careful and precise with their craft. Throughout the song, Simon sings about attending open houses and picking fruit under a bright sun as a way to evoke happiness. With two singles on the year already, Lulu Simon seems to just be getting started.
