obee captures self-doubt and rebellion on dance anthem "DON'T STOP ME"

Vermont-hailing talent obee delivers rebellious anthem "DON'T STOP ME," a club-oriented pop production that weaves through battles with doubt and overcoming opposition in chasing their dreams. With a house/dance-pop soundscape rooted in euphoric electro-tinged sensibilities, the track is a relatable exploration of feeling gaslit by others and yourself.

Offering up heartfelt reflections wrapped up in groovy sonics, the track captures what it feels like to be bogged down by comparison, pressure and the voice of doubt in an era of information overload. Inspired by personal experiences yet deeply resonant for anyone who has felt overwhelmed by eyes of the world on you, the track manages to tow the line between profound reflections and a booming anthem that you can groove along to. Capturing a swirl of emotions spanning heartache, anger and everything in between,  the fierce song taps into a journey of facing adversity, feeling gaslit, and using hate as fuel for the fire.

Speaking of the message behind the track, obee says, "I hope people walk away feeling re-energized and validated. I wrote this to prove  something to myself, and I think that dream rings true for most people, no matter what  industry or life path you’re on. I want it to help move people – on the dance floor, in their  car, in their personal life, in their endeavors. More than ever people need love and  encouragement right now. There’s too much hate and slander being spoken right now,  we don’t need anymore vibe-killers."

From being a self taught musician/producer/engineer to his current goal of carving out a space for himself as a self-made artist, obee's musical journey has seen his love for electronic music shape up as comfort for him and those around him as he consistently delivers anthemic, emotive and alluring bangers for us to lose ourselves in.

With his EP on the horizon, obee is set to showcase his vast sonic and emotional range as he moves from the bold stylings of this current track to an upcoming dance music-led exploration of melancholy in relationships.
