Since 2019, Danish trio Smag På Dig Selv has been shaping Europe's underground electronic music scene with their bold approach to an wide blend of genres.
Somewhere between gabber and Nordic jazz, but with the enthusiastic personality of punk, "Vik's Rawcore" is a melting pot of contradiction.
Beginning with a slow instrumental buildup, the soundscape is constructed out of their signature jazz instrumentation of saxophone and drums. This track also features Viktoria Søndergaard on vibraphone, which rounds out the gracious melodic section before it transitions into a bone-shaking blend of harsh electronic sounds.
With its boldness and individuality, this isn't a track to miss for the adventurous listeners.
"Vik's Rawcore" is the third single from their upcoming album, set to be released in March 2026.
