London based indie-electronic meets dream pop artist Glassio has just entered "The Imposter era" with his new riveting single "When The Beat Carries On". The track is off of his highly anticipated new album The Imposter which is set for release February 25th, 2026.

With "When The Beat Carries On", Glassio pens an existential and relatable song. The single is a journey through illusion, identity, creativity and ultimately rebirth. Lyrics including, "the magically mystery train it goes on / I hope I'm not alone this time / the beat carries on," show these themes. Musically, "When The Beat Carries On" features dreamy-soundscapes, sparkly synths, and shimmery beats. Lush and layered collision of colorful sonics and upbeat electro beats underlay Glassio's engaging vocals. The result is a danceable yet introspective anthem that bridges melancholy and euphoria, a hallmark of his sound.

The single is shared alongside a visualizer featuring Glassio's very own uncle Kermani who plays an older man. Glassio directs and edits the video to pay homage to his first way of expressing himself, making mini DIY films featuring his uncle.

The single arrives with a heartfelt visualizer featuring Glassio’s uncle Kermani, who portrays an older man in a reflective, nostalgic role. Directed and edited by Glassio himself, the video pays homage to his first creative outlet, making DIY short films starring his uncle, and serves as a full-circle moment for the artist.

“When The Beat Carries On” is both a sonic and emotional evolution for Glassio, signaling a bold new chapter ahead of The Imposter. With its shimmering production, honest storytelling, and cinematic flair, it’s a reminder that even when life shifts and identities blur, the music, and the beat, always carries on.
