Amsterdam transforms into electronic music's global epicenter every October, and 2025's 30th edition promises to be the biggest yet. With over 1,000 events across 200+ venues from October 22 to 26, navigating Amsterdam Dance Event can feel overwhelming. We've done the heavy lifting for you, identifying the essential events that capture the festival's diverse spirit, from marathon warehouse raves to intimate label showcases and even a moving party on rails.

Whether you're chasing underground techno, exploring emerging sounds, seeking those transcendent sunrise moments, or looking for truly unique experiences, these events represent the absolute best of what ADE 2025 has to offer.

1. SPIELRAUM: 55 HOURS Weekender at RAUM
Friday, October 24 (23:00) to Monday, October 27 (06:00) | Club RAUM

SPIELRAUM returns to ADE for its sophomore year for an epic 55-hour marathon featuring Afra b2b Helena Hauff,Angel D'lite, BASHKKA, Blasha & Allatt, Call Super, Carista, Chloé Caillet b2b THC, DJ Flight, DJ Nobu, Doppelgang, Eris Drew, Faustin, Fafi Abdel Nour, JakoJako, Jen Cardini, Jerrau, Job Jobse, Juliana Huxtable, Ketia, KI/KI, Kia, LazerGazer, livwutang, Mama Snake, Mary Lake, Moopie, Oceanic, OG Karin, Oscar Mulero, Polly F, Polygonia, Quelza, RÆZA, Rachel Noon, Roi Perez, Ryan Elliott, Salome, Sandrien, Sedef Adasi, Talismann, Twiena, and YoungWoman. The Afra b2b Helena Hauff opening alone is worth admission, but the depth of this lineup means you'll experience every corner of underground electronic music across the weekend. RAUM's intimate setting and commitment to a safe, inclusive queer space makes this more than a party. After struggling for nearly a year with opening the space, RAUM over the past 12 months has thrived in creating a strong identity for itself in the Amsterdam queer club space.

2. Clone Records at RAUM
Thursday, October 23 | 23:00 to 07:00 | Club RAUM

Clone Records hard launches ADE with a stacked two-room takeover at RAUM. The Rotterdam label invites jannah, XDB b2b PLO Man, Marcel Dettmann playing house, Serge b2b DJ MELL G, and Setaoc Mass to navigate the shadowy and kinetic contours of electro, techno, and house. Dettmann stepping outside his Berlin techno zone for a house set is the highlight, paired with the diggers b2b from XDB and PLO Man. Clone's curation is legendary. Seeing Dettmann play house showcases his versatility beyond Berghain's hard techno. The XDB b2b PLO Man set will be a masterclass in digging, pulling out electro and house gems you won't hear anywhere else. RAUM's intimate setting ensures this feels like a proper club night rather than a festival blowout.

3. 12 15 6 9 by Numéro & TGIB
Wednesday, October 22 | 23:00 to 06:00 | Lofi

12 15 6 9, a coded transmission. Numéro Netherlands, The Gang Is Beautiful and Lofi converge to deliver something raw, dark and undeniably beautiful. Techno pioneer Richie Hawtin headlines with MARRØN, Polygonia, Jeans, Olivia Mendez, Prance, and Joya Astou. This opening night sets ADE's tone with Hawtin's technical precision balanced by MARRØN's percussive intensity. Hawtin's sets are masterclasses in minimalism, building tension through subtraction rather than addition. MARRØN brings Afro-futurist rhythms that shake foundations. Lofi's two-room setup ensures varied soundscapes throughout the night, so when you need a break from Hawtin's intensity, there's always another sonic world to explore.

4. CODA ADE by Ratherlost
Sunday, 26/10 | 14:00 – 08:00 | Lofi

Ratherlost, Amsterdam's beloved party series known for creating spaces where everyone feels free to get lost and find meaning on the dancefloor, returns for their third CODA ADE closing celebration. Based on their track record, expect everything from warm dubby grooves to spiralling techno. Ratherlost's CODA events are legendary for creating journeys rather than peak-time moments. The lineup includes CCL b2b Objekt, DJ Nobu b2b Wata Igarashi, DJ Red, GiGi FM, Priori, Rødhåd, Sarkawt Hamad, Sepehr (live), Serti (live), and Xiaolin. They book for vibe, not hype, taking dancers through multiple states of consciousness across extended sets. If you want to close ADE properly, surrounded by people who came for the music rather than the scene, this is your spot.

5. Audio Obscura ADE x Innervisions
Saturday, October 25 | 13:00 to 23:00 | RAW Factory

Audio Obscura and Innervisions team up for a special one-day edition celebrating two decades of boundary-pushing sound. Following last year's sold-out 24-hour marathon, this event promises to be one of ADE's standout moments. Innervisions brings its unmistakable energy celebrating 20 years. Expect forward-thinking artists and a deep dive into the next chapter at RAW Factory, a space that demands full presence. Innervisions represents melodic techno's apex. Âme and Dixon have spent two decades refining a sound that's both cerebral and physical, emotional and driving. Audio Obscura's production at RAW Factory is consistently world-class, transforming the industrial headquarters of G-Star into a cathedral of sound. Last year sold out completely. The 20th anniversary programming means special guests, rare b2bs, and moments you won't see replicated.

6. SONA Presents: X by Adriatique
Friday, October 24 | 23:00 to 05:00 | Taets Art and Event Park

With over a decade of music, the Swiss duo Adriatique has become a driving force in electronic music, and SONA brings their acclaimed X show to Amsterdam Dance Event for an exclusive presentation. Adriatique headlines with WhoMadeWho delivering a hybrid DJ set, Julya Karma, and John Cala at the historical grounds of Taets Art and Event Park. This will be Adriatique’s biggest show to date in Amsterdam. Adriatique’s extended sets are legendary. They build slowly, patiently, taking you on genuine journeys rather than hitting you with peak-time moments. The X show concept allows them to stretch out across six hours, exploring every dimension of their sound from deep and hypnotic to euphoric and driving. WhoMadeWho’s hybrid DJ set adds live elements and emotional depth. The venue is accessible by bike with a 25-minute ride from Amsterdam West, or by shuttle service from Amsterdam Sloterdijk. This event is 18+

7. The LOFT Presents: Multiple Sessions
Various Times Throughout ADE | The LOFT (A'DAM Tower, 16th Floor)

The LOFT, perched on the 16th floor of Amsterdam's iconic A'DAM Tower, transforms into electronic music's most breathtaking venue during ADE. With panoramic views over the city, world-class sound, and an intimate 350-person capacity, The LOFT offers something no warehouse or club can replicate: the entire Amsterdam skyline as your backdrop while world-class selectors guide you through sunrise, sunset, and everything between. The full schedule is linked here, but two of our favorite parties curated this year are below.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24: The LOFT presents: Octo Octa b2b ISAbella, Fafi Abdel Nour b2b Jennifer Loveless | 06:00 to 12:00

Octo Octa and ISAbella, Fafi Abdel Nour and Jennifer Loveless deliver two dream b2bs representing house music at its most emotionally resonant and politically vital. Octo Octa and her partner Eris Drew run T4T LUV NRG, a label and party series releasing "alchemical objects for use in DJing, dancing, kissing and crying." Their work creates queer spaces where trans people and allies can experience genuine freedom on the dancefloor. Octo Octa's journey from producing bedroom house to becoming one of the scene's most important voices happened alongside her coming out as transgender. Albums like "Where Are We Going?" and "Resonant Body" document both musical evolution and personal transformation. ISAbella, the Colombian selector who's become an Amsterdam underground fixture, brings sophisticated house and progressive sounds. Fafi Abdel Nour and Jennifer Loveless complete the lineup with layers of deep, progressive house moving from introspective to ecstatic. This is six hours of house music as healing ritual, watching the sun rise while four selectors who understand the genre's queer roots guide you through every emotion.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25 The LOFT curated by Ogazón | 06:30 to 13:00

Ogazón curates a morning session bringing together Ogazón b2b Rene Wise plus DVS1 playing a house set. Zak Khutoretsky, known as DVS1, is a Berghain resident famous for uncompromising, physically powerful techno. The Minneapolis native who survived jail time, opened and lost his own club with $120,000 in debt, and built his way up through dedication to the craft, is one of techno's most respected purists. He owns over 30,000 vinyl records. He regularly plays 11-hour closing sets at Berghain. He launched Aslice, a revenue-sharing platform helping producers get paid when DJs play their tracks. When DVS1 steps outside techno to play house, it's an event. His Mistress Recordings label exists for these "secret weapons," the house and everything-in-between tracks he plays at Panorama Bar. Seeing him explore this side of his collection in The LOFT's intimate setting, as morning light floods over Amsterdam, is rare. This is for committed ravers ready to close Friday night by opening Saturday morning.

Awakenings: Saturday Day (Spectrum by Joris Voorn)
Saturday, October 25 | Afternoon | Sugarfactory

For 27 years, Awakenings has been synonymous with world-class techno. This year, they break new ground, literally, taking over Sugarfactory, a former 19th-century sugar refinery that has never hosted a rave in its 162-year existence. Awakenings is the first and only promoter to bring techno to this raw, unpolished landmark. Across five days and seven shows at this industrial west Amsterdam location, Awakenings presents everything from cutting-edge house to immersive techno and explosive hard techno. But if you can only hit one event, make it Saturday's daytime session.

THE NEW VENUE: SUGARFACTORY

Built in 1863, this former sugar refinery has stood untouched by electronic music for over a century. Awakenings is the first and only promoter to bring techno here. The centerpiece is a towering, open central hall with concrete floors, industrial high-pitched roof, and dramatic balcony structures partially suspended above the dancefloor. The layered layout offers excellent stage views from multiple levels. Beyond the main room, a maze of corridors, nooks, and side rooms become chill-out zones. The building's scale and gritty elegance promise a dance experience unlike any other. Location is just five minutes by train from Sloterdijk with large parking, smooth connections for taxis and public transport, or a short bike ride. Address: Sugarfactory, Kristalpromenade 7, Halfweg, The Netherlands

SATURDAY DAY: SPECTRUM BY JORIS VOORN

Saturday afternoon unfolds with a vinyl-only opening set from Freddy K and Ogazón, two of techno's most respected diggers. Vinyl-only sets have become rare in the digital age. Freddy K, the Italian selector known for deep knowledge of techno's history, teams with Amsterdam's own Ogazón for an extended journey through the crates. These DJs play vinyl because it's their preferred format, allowing them to truly express their vision. Following the vinyl deep dive, Rene Wise and Fadi Mohem take over with deeper selections. Then Rødhåd, the Berghain resident whose sets are masterclasses in tension and release, guides the room deeper. The session culminates in Joris Voorn's hypnotic "Trip To Galaxy" set. Voorn, the Dutch techno legend at the forefront for two decades, presents a concept built around cosmic, trippy techno. This event represents techno at its most cerebral and immersive.

9. giegling …IsBurning Weekender
Saturday, October 25 (21:00) to Monday, October 27 (06:00) | TILLATEC

giegling and IsBurning come together for a sweaty 34-hour marathon. IsBurning is Amsterdam's premier LGBTQIA+ event series, a desire to be absolutely free, to shine and to be who you want to be. giegling brings its deep, textured soundscapes from Germany's underground. Together, they promise a marathon that prioritizes music, community, and freedom over big-name bookings. This is pure underground culture. Both collectives prioritize vibe, community, and musical depth over commercial appeal. giegling's aesthetic is singular with deep, dubbed-out house and techno that feels like it's emerging from fog. IsBurning creates spaces where queerness and music intersect without compromise. The 34-hour format allows for genuine journey and connection. TILLATEC's raw, industrial setting adds to the atmosphere. Expect to meet people who will become lifelong friends, hear tracks you'll search for obsessively, and experience what underground culture truly means.

IsBurning · Jacob Meehan… IsBurning #144

10. LASTER at TILLATEC
Wednesday, October 22 | TILLATEC

LASTER kicks off ADE week at TILLATEC With a star studded opening lineup with Ben Klock, Philippa Pacho, Quelza, Laia, Roll Dann, and Shadow Hrym, LASTER events are known for their carefully curated techno and house programming in intimate settings. Opening night sets the tone for your entire ADE. Starting at TILLATEC, a venue that prioritizes substance over flash, means you're beginning the week properly. LASTER's reputation for quality bookings without hype makes this an ideal way to ease into the week's chaos.

11. AMÉMÉ presents: One Tribe Sunset Train by 50Htz
Friday, October 24 | 18:00 Departure | Amsterdam Centraal Station

AMÉMÉ and his One Tribe family bring another unique experience to Amsterdam for ADE. Step onto the One Tribe Sunset Train for an evening packed with unexpected moments, electric performances, and memories that last long after the ride ends. Limited to 400 guests, this 4-hour journey departs from Amsterdam Centraal with mandatory security check 45 minutes before departure. The moving club features multiple stages and performances. This is one of ADE's most innovative concepts. Raving on a moving train as the Dutch countryside passes by at sunset creates an entirely different energy than club or warehouse settings. The confined space creates intimacy and community. The movement adds a dreamlike quality. AMÉMÉ's One Tribe ethos of bringing people together translates to this format. Last year's edition sold out and received rave reviews. You must be present 45 minutes before departure for security checks. Miss the train, miss the experience. The last few tickets are still available.

12. Ellen Allien presents Vinylism at Radio Radio
Thursday, October 23 | Radio Radio

Techno pioneer and BPitch Control label head Ellen Allien brings her Vinylism concept to Radio Radio, an intimate venue perfect for vinyl-focused sets. Expect deep cuts, rare pressings, and the tactile warmth that only vinyl can deliver. In an era of digital DJing dominance, vinyl sets offer something genuinely different with imperfection, warmth, tactility, and the knowledge that what you're hearing can't be perfectly replicated. Ellen Allien's curation spans decades of underground electronic music, and her technical skill with vinyl is formidable. Radio Radio's intimate capacity ensures you'll be close to the action, watching her work the decks in real-time.

These thirteen events represent ADE 2025's incredible diversity: marathon endurance tests, intimate showcases, large-scale productions, moving experiences, and genre-spanning journeys. From SPIELRAUM's 55-hour odyssey to the Sunset Train's mobile magic, from Innervisions' melodic mastery to giegling and IsBurning's underground union, there's something here for every kind of raver.

You won't hit all thirteen, ut use this guide to craft your own perfect ADE experience. Mix marathon sessions with intimate moments. Balance big names with underground discoveries. Give yourself permission to skip FOMO and follow your ears. The ADE Pro Pass grants access to all official ADE festival events, even sold-out shows when capacity permits.

Amsterdam during ADE week is unmatched, with the entire city becoming a dancefloor.
