Joshua Pearlstein’s latest release, “What U Freakin’.” The track pulses, vibrates and breathes with mechanical life, reflecting nothing short of Pearlstein’s unique talent for blending human feeling with modularized, three-dimensional sound design.

From the first beat, “What U Freakin’” has an intention behind it each synth, kick and vocal texture considered by its creators in order to stir something deeper. It’s danceable, yet cerebral. Gritty, yet emotionally rich. Constructed within the framework of a modular, mechanical aesthetic Joshua's music exists between futuristic pop and expertly designed experimental electronics. Each sound lands with emotional weight and physical force, making for a listening experience that sounds as visceral as it does catchy. There’s a balance of chaos to control here, a metaphor for his creative process.

Currently perfecting his artistry at Berklee College of Music, Joshua Stays comes with a polished edge. He’s building sound sculptures that integrate machine-like precision with human frailty. “What U Freakin’” encapsulates that duality beautifully, rendering it an anthem for people who revel in movement and discover connection in sound.

In a world of interchangeable dance anthems, Pearlstein emerges as an engineer of emotion, a savant who bridges the gap between feeling and rhythm, laying down tracks that masquerade as heartbeats. “What U Freakin’” is an experience that aims to slap you emotionally, and physically.
