TEZ stick to a tried-and-tested formula on new single "Going Two"

The indie-rock and neo-psychedelia trio TEZ (Owen Mellett, Joe Martin, and Dan Hughes) released their new single, “Going Two.”

Described by the band as a track that’s been “in the pipeline for a while,” "Going Two" leans into the trio’s signature sun-drenched style and fuzzy vocals, unfolding like the perfect soundtrack to a carefree beach day at the height of summer—radiant, unhurried, and irresistibly warm

The track carries forward the band’s philosophy of music as therapy, blending tender, heartfelt lyrics with their signature dubby rhythms and a distant, echoing warmth that calls back to the mid-2000s UK scene—closing the release on a note that feels both nostalgic and restorative.

It’s a reminder of the trio's ability to transform vulnerability into sound, leaving listeners with a sense of healing resonance long after the track fades.
