Montreal-based band Barber for the Queen delivered their second single this summer. "STARSTUCK" is a heart-pumping, downtown, night out synthwave indie rock fusion. Booming in every sense of the word, "STARSTRUCK" keeps the party going as the sound just leaps off the track.
The band has been relatively quiet since their last release, which was their dance-focused Baba album, released earlier this month. Since then, Barber for the Queen has honed their craft, resulting in two smash singles: "STARSTRUCK" and "My Hang Up."
With their latest outing, Barber for the Queen delivers on the "STARSTRUCK" chorus with a huge bass that blends perfectly with the synths. Much of the track keeps with the flow of the sound design to give an awe-dropping mixture.
Barber for the Queen has never shied away from the challenges of musical fusion. Like their last project, "STARSTRUCK," still offers a place for rhythm movers to inch towards the dancefloor and get down.
