San Pedro rapper and hip hop riser Remble has just shared his latest new single and music video. Entitled "SWIMWEAR", the track is the highlight off of his newly shared album JUCO via Warner Records. The fifteen track masterpiece JUCO is short for junior college and reflects a transformative journey of rebuilding and growth after the rapper's time away after the tragic loss of his friend and collaborator Drakeo the Ruler. The album features collaborations with the likes of Mozzy, BLXST, R3 Da Chilliman, stoneda5th, Banditdamack and more.
With "SWIMWEAR", Remble creates a song all about surviving the hood and his journey of hustling and resilience. He raps, "Put me on the play and I'm in there like swimwear
/ And this is before I even grew chin hair / Got opps tryna pop me and police tryna cuff me / Just trust me, it's ugly, I been there," showing his tenacity and experience. "SWIMWEAR" is a raw and relentless street-level snapshot filled with clever wordplay and unfiltered rhymes of loyalty, betrayal and survival. Musically, "SWIMWEAR" features a downtempo electric guitar riff under Remble's smooth flow. A punchy and memorable hook and seductive beats also add to the song's allure. The music video directed by Nick Medina shows Remble at a local gas station, diner and convenience shop as he raps and chills in the evening.
Remble has quickly gained a dedicated fanbase with a cult-like following. The artist is at the forefront of a new wave Los Angeles rap movement. With millions of streams each week and a new must hear album, the sky's the limit for Remble.
