Monster Machine Channels Frustration Into Firepower on New Single "Rage"

Sydney-based producer and DJ Monster Machine storms into the electronic scene with her debut single "Rage", a furious, high-energy fusion of trap, bass, and EDM chaos. As the first single from her forthcoming debut EP "EXALTED", "Rage" lives up to its name, delivering a relentless, industrial-edged sound that channels frustration into pure adrenaline.

The track kicks off with a processed vocal sample listing off daily irritations- mundane on the surface, but delivered with increasing pressure. Underneath, the production simmers, quickly escalating into a distorted, robotic melody that explodes into a crushing EDM drop. From there, Monster Machine expertly controls the energy, moving between pounding, bass-heavy sections and tightly wound buildups. The track maintains a full-throttle momentum, never offering release, just the forward surge of catharsis through sound.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Monster Machine (aka Penny) explains: “The idea for ‘Rage’ came about as I was driving and listening to Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’. The sample and pulsing rhythm of the pedestrian light crossing that she used in her track was huge inspiration, and I wanted to recreate a version of that in EDM form.”

With nods to artists like RL Grime and Knock2, Monster Machine’s "Rage" is a bold first statement, angsty, visceral, and high-energy. If this is just the beginning, "EXALTED" is set to hit with the force of a riot.
