Fraser Morgan unveils vibrant new EP Songs About Girls, a light-hearted collection weaving through tales of friendship, platonic love, heartbreak, and unrequited love.
Built on a rich soundscape blending rap, pop and alt-folk, the EP highlights Morgan’s vivid storytelling as it unfurls real-life stories led by signature honest, humorous yet ultimately intimate and heartfelt lyricism. Framed by tender yet luscious instrumentals and fierce vocals, Morgan draws us into a playful sonic world laden with a touch of intimacy.
Speaking of the EP, he says.“I’ve been really excited to get this EP out for a long time. I think a lot of people have been excited for me to release this too, which I think is why so many people backed it so quickly in the crowdfunder. That blew my mind to see so many people who cared so much about the music I create. This summer, I’m doing the biggest tour of my life at some of the UK’s biggest festivals. I really can’t wait to get stuck, get this EP out, get on the road and start meeting and connecting with people.”
Backed by over 70 crowdfunders, the EP with its blissful blend of mandolins, violins, cowbells, and quick-fire rap leaning lyricism is self-aware, charming and humorous as it establishes Morgan’s relatability as an artist. Already established as an act to watch across the UK’s grassroots and festival scenes, Fraser continues to rise higher with each new release.
