AViVA has never been one to follow the rules, and her fiery new single “Heaven & Hell” stays true to that ethos. Off of her forthcoming album Eyes Wide Shut, the track is a defiant, high-octane alt-pop anthem that blends raw guitar riffs, thunderous percussion, and a vocal performance that’s as vulnerable as it is powerful.
Lyrically, AViVA dives headfirst into the darker realities of the music industry, calling out the all-too-common trend of artists trading authenticity for fame. She confides, “The devil, literal or not, sits waiting for the next artist to fall into the trap.” “Heaven & Hell” is AViVA’s very own declaration that she will always have full control of her vision, and will never compromise her values in an industry that often demands it.
As well as the new single and upcoming album, AViVA is also working on a cyberpunk-inspired novel, which will be her third published by Pan Macmillan, as well as a graphic novel experience, further emphasizing her desire to forge her own path, and create her own world where no one can dictate her actions. With “Heaven & Hell,” AViVA not only reclaims her narrative, but invites her 'Outsiders' (as she calls her fans) to do the same—loudly, unapologetically, and on their own terms.
