As the seasons bring about change and winds of new chapter in his creative career, Montreal creative Kerri is embracing the change and encouraging more to follow suit.
Catching the vibe with some sonically bellowing drums and a breezy chorus, Kerri maintains a significant presence with such minimal effort. It's almost as if Kerri put himself in the middle of a hurricane, right at the center while nothing but chaos surrounds him, but he remains calm and in control, finding joy in the disarray.
Something interesting that Kerri does musically is utilize the space in between the drums that riddles within the track. Where some seconds should be filled with an extra layer of sound, Kerri adds an almost booming effect, creating this loop that's one part distracting, yet incredibly mesmerizing.
This is the first step in a different new journey for the artist and the first message to tell listeners not to panic.
