Montreal born indie electronica artist The Grand Mess shares his latest emotive single "Bloom". The track is the first new music in three years from this creator following a series of 2021 single releases including "Summertime" and "Think of Me".

"Bloom" is a gorgeous layered single that is more than just a song but a goodbye to a version of himself that he has had difficulty moving on from. The song touches upon dealing with expectations and personal growth and how difficult that can be. Sometimes we think we need certain things to be happy and with "Bloom", The Grand Mess shares his struggle with realizing what indeed makes him feel solace. He sings, "Thought I could carry you to heal my aches / But I made mistakes / I really tried to change," showing this narrative. Sonically, "Bloom" continues his signature blend of electronic music, soul, and hauntingly intimate vocals. The slow burner features melodic keys, mood-drenched melodies and breathtakingly beautiful vocal layers. The Grand Mess has an uncanny ability to touch listeners long after the song ends with his vulnerable and soul-baring vocals. The single is rich in textures, blending orchestral elements with electronic production, creating a sound that is both sophisticated and emotionally raw. The subtle yet affecting instrumentation elevates his voice, with moments of stark minimalism contrasting with lush arrangements that give the album an unpredictable, dynamic flow.

The Grand Mess has a successful career as a producer and songwriter, collaborating with various artists and amassing millions of streams. The classical trained musician learned piano from his grandmother while also recording rappers from his local neighborhood in his home built studio. His own musical project is transformative and alluring, attracting fans all over the world. Check out "Bloom" now and add it to your favorite playlist.
