Boy Jr. is the musical project of multidimensional creator and artistic mastermind Ariel Allen-Lubman (they/them). The riser has just shared their latest single "Zitty Stardust". The song is shared alongside a vivid music video and is the first single following their album release I Love Getting Dumped!, which was shared last year.

With "Zitty Stardust", Boy Jr. took influence from a mean comment on their social media feed about the acne the artist started to get due to the testosterone they were taking at the time. The comment stuck and they knew this just had to be a song title. The track also details the joyful and transformative feelings they were having about transitioning. Lyrics including "I'm getting weight / I'm getting acne / But I'm so happy / I'm so excited for it / I'm in love with the person / I'm becoming more and more," show this narrative. Musically, "Zitty Stardust" features striking soundscapes with vibrant colorful synths and kaleidoscopic beats. Deep vocals singing cathartic melodies and psychedelic infused guitar solos add to the track's allure. The song features elements of indie pop, electronica, synthwave, rock and more for a captivating and inspiring journey of self love. The music video is radiant and filled with colors, fun images and personal shots of the artist as they revel in their new body.

Boy Jr. is not only a phenomenal singer/songwriter but also a social media influencer. The LGBTQ+ creator is constantly pushing musical boundaries and exploring important themes in their music. Check out "Zitty Stardust" now and add this gem to your favorite playlist.
