Planets returns with a high-energy driven powerhouse of a track, “Winner”

London-based duo Planets return with “Winner.” With its handful of releases hot on the heels of "SIGNS" and "Red Earth," the band turns the heat way up with a track that blasted loudly and proudly. From the very moment the first chord begins on “Winner,” it sinks its teeth in and does not let go.

Built on crackling guitar work from Hector Castro and piercing, expressive vocals, “Winner” is a battle cry. The music thrums with raw energy, invoking that sense of urgency you can embody, that desire to run harder, run faster, be more than you were before/go ever more far with the knowledge that you can do this, you can power through this, you can be so much more than you think you can (and you can).

On the inspiration behind the song, Castro says, “Winner” is for people like me, the ones who’ve been afraid to put in the work and fight for what they want. We hope it instills confidence in listeners as individuals and as performing part of something greater.”

And that’s just what “Winner” provides. It’s a song for dreamers, fighters, and anyone on the precipice who is about to jump. When “Mind Patterns” reaches the final minute, its massive sound and unyielding energy have turned it from an inspiring anthem to one that ignites.
