Lines like "How is he gonna feel about then days I'm not around/ How is he gonna feel to know I let his mother down/I was on the road, my head was stuck up in the street/Stressing out my family, I would disappear for weeks/weeks turn into months,and maybe we ain't spoke for a year/I let it breathe and reappear with a beef" underscores his acknowledgment and accountability of his actions. Furthermore, he performs a lot of self-examination and forgiveness as he takes action to be a better man for his family.
