Harry Eley breaks free with "Thinking of You"

Harry Eley shares a new single, "Thinking of You," a manifesto. Pulsing with raw energy and emotional heat, this track distills the frenetic longing of young adults stumbling through love, lust, and desire during a time when every thought is scrutinized by screens and social mores.

Imbued with a hypnotic undercurrent of melody and mood, "Thinking of You" searches for poetry in the pull between instinct and inhibition. Eley builds an atmosphere in which desire is exciting yet ephemeral, showing the emotional tussle of a generation caught between the seductive lures of inner life and the impermissible ways of making it real. His compelling storytelling is enhanced by a soundscape that balances urgency with intimacy, resulting in an unforgettable listen.

This is not a safe and sound song. Instead, it revels in teenage passion without a sheen and challenges some of the unseen conventions of how to act in 21st-century relationships. With each beat and every lyric, "Thinking of You" expresses the feelings we often keep to ourselves, an anthem for those who will not be put in a box by the perceived way society expects us to live.

With "Thinking of You," Harry Eley has shown he’s willing to take risks musically and thematically. It’s a track that sticks around, sparks, and won’t be ignored.
