Welsh indie rock band Public Order shares a peek at their debut EP HELLO, with emotive anthem “JOKER,” which taps into their signature blend of bold instrumentation, atmospheric hooks, and raw lyrical depth. An anthem that manages to balance bittersweet twangs with high energy styling, the track makes for a layered listening experience.
Driven by thoughtful narratives that weave into pulsating soundscapes, the energetic anthem sets the tone for the EP, crafted alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Jim Abbiss. Speaking about the track, the band says, “‘Joker’ is a bittersweet snapshot of youth. It’s about living in the moment, embracing the chaos, the messiness, and the beautiful but fleeting moments. It’s the realisation that not everything is meant to last, and that’s okay.”
