NYC native and pop riser Hayes Warner has just shared her latest electrifying and important new single. Called "Oh!”, the singer-songwriter teamed up with famed Grammy-nominated writer/producer Zhone (Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Kesha) for this dance pop banger. The single is the first of the year for Hayes Warner and off of her upcoming EP. The track is released via Glassnote Music LLC / Connection Music Publishing.
With "Oh!" Hayes Warner creates a song all about trying to navigate the current dating landscape. From unrealistic expectations to dealing with narcissistic men who are all about objectifying women, Hayes captures these experiences through her wit filled yet honest lyrics. She sings, "First thing I learned when I tried to catch his eye / Its all looks / He don't care about my mind / Oh I'm putting on a show for you / You thinking it is love like / Oh," showing her date that she is onto his schemes and she will trick him and play that game better. Sonically, "Oh!" features intoxicating beats under fun-loving and striking synths. Hayes vocals are charismatic and alluring as she sings a hooky chorus that lingers long after the song ends. The accompanied music video showcases the artist at the famed NYC hang out The Box where she is seen performing. The video cuts to scenes of her at dinner dates with a few of these obnoxious men including "the finance guy", "the feminist" and "the nepo DJ". She plays her cheeky part, outsmarting them in the end. The artist teamed up with fashion designer Kate Barton to add a perfect wardrobe to the visuals.
Hayes Warner has quickly made a name for herself with her brand of hard-hitting and authentic pop releases. The artist performed at 2024's Lollapalooza, opened on the North American tours for Neon Trees, Scarlet Opera, and Crash Adams as well as performed at the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics team trials. Even Gwen Stefani is a fan, sharing her version of "Just a Girl". The artist is also set to open for Cardi B at the Mardi Gras themed Victory Fan Festival coming next month. Check out “Oh!” now and enjoy the ride!
