AMÉMÉ joins AZZUR to deliver powerful afro house remix of "Me Gusta"

AMÉMÉ has put his distinctive stamp on AZZUR's "Me Gusta," delivering a remix that transforms the original into a compelling club weapon. The track is part of a three-remix package that also features interpretations from Birds of Mind and Nick Morgan, out now via AZZUR (AZ U ARE).

AMÉMÉ's remix blends African rhythms with contemporary house elements while preserving the original's vocal hooks. His version showcases the signature sound that has made him one of electronic music's most exciting rising stars.

The release arrives via Marseille-based AZZUR, founded by Meloko and Konvex & The Shadows, alongside Selim Sivade and Baron. The label has built a reputation for timeless electronic music, hosting releases from artists like Frankey & Sandrino, Stimming, and The Drifter.

For AMÉMÉ, the remix continues an impressive run of momentum. The Benin-born artist recently collaborated with legendary vocalist Angelique Kidjo and delivered standout releases on Black Book Records, Realm Records, and Defected Records' afro-house imprint One People throughout 2024.

Beyond the studio, AMÉMÉ's influence has grown through his One Tribe event series. After relaunching at London's Fabric, the series secured a quarterly residency at Amsterdam's Shelter, returned to Brooklyn's House of Yes, and expanded to Ibiza and Egypt. This success has earned him a return booking to Coachella for 2025, solidifying his position in electronic music's vanguard.

The "Me Gusta" remix package exemplifies AZZUR's commitment to emotional, melodic dance music while highlighting AMÉMÉ's talent for bridging cultural and generational gaps through electronic music. His interpretation stands alongside equally compelling versions from Birds of Mind and Nick Morgan, each bringing their unique perspective to the release.

AMÉMÉ continues to demonstrate why he's become one of dance music's most compelling voices, crafting a remix that both honors the original while pushing it into new sonic territory. As his star continues to rise, this release serves as another reminder of his ability to create music that resonates both on the dance floor and beyond.
