The Afro Nick’s new single, “Get There Before Noon (LA Mix),” is a loving nudge to live in the moment with every pulse and tone. Clothed in the gold of indie, alternative, and psychedelic rock, this piece takes listeners to an intersection where urgency and calm meet. This beautiful polyphonic clash encompasses both the ephemeral nature of time.

Filmed on location throughout the frenetic landscape of New York City, the song unfurls a sonorous landscape vibrant in character and calm in intimacy. Grammy-winning synth virtuoso Leonardo Genovese also sprinkles his magic in the mix, infusing the music with celestial layers that channel its preexisting ethereal energy into the stratosphere. Suppose you know the Afro Nick signature vocal delivery. In that case, you know what's coming: the combination of nostalgia and ambition that feel at home in the ears of someone pursuing dreams or memories or the simple transience of beauty.

The LA Mix artificially adds a sun-drenched flavor, the grunge of its NYC origins perfectly fine-tuned against a much more relaxed West Coast sensibility. The result is a road trip-in-a-song, windows down, hearts open, horizon all limitless.

While the intricate guitar riffs ripple through the soundscape and the shimmering synths are splashes of color, “Get There Before Noon” implores its listeners to hear the music and live it. It’s a reminder that time is precious, whether you’re chasing the sunrise or the quiet before noon.
