Veteran DJ / production duo The Allergies recently put out their genre-bending album Freak the Speaker, but the celebration is just starting as they also deliver the final single "Watch What You Say." The anthemic funky track brings together a host of vocalists and instrumentalists ranging from Charles Morgan who leads the charge on vocal duties while his Gospel-inspired background singers follow suit alongside Andy Cooper whose pitced up funky vocals garnish the track with extra flavour. The musical arrangements by Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley and The New JB's collaborator, James Morton cannot be ignored as they all put the pedal to the metal and deliver their A game. The result is a modern twist of classic P-Funk, Go-Go music and soul-pop that will get the crowd jumping for joy.
The new album ‘Freak The Speaker’ is out now and features a bunch of old-school legends like Dynamite MC, Ohmega Watts, K.O.G (Kweku of Ghana) etc
