If there's an artist who inspires many and has a sound that speaks a great amount for people, it has to be Gifted Hands. This record “Your Gift Makes Room” displays a great deal of heart and transparency, with a deep aspect of dealing with one's inner emotions while trying to find your purpose in life through what might seem impossible to get past. The production resonates with soul, sonically it sounds as if it should draw some heartfelt lyrics from the rhymer. Gifted carries his flow well from the beginning to the end of the track, adding melodic pieces in his verse, demonstrating his signature style and sound. His energy is there, though the approach is a bit mellow in aspects he does have energy lyrically and within his tone and delivery.
It's soul at its finest.
With the record, you can hear and tell he has faced some challenges emotionally. Though the art is truly a beautiful piece, the honesty of the lyrics absolutely pulls you into his world, and even though it's personal, it speaks a great deal for others. Creatively, the record is excellently put together, with a great blend of sharp rhyming, passionate delivery, and melodic tempos. The chorus comes in with words that are truly motivational and inspiring. “If you've ever had a dream, ima need you to stay right here.” The substance of the music is completely relatable which makes the music a great sensation. You can hear his faith, and it's LOUD.
Sonically the music flows together with no contrast, his voice sounds perfect to the style of the production but it also speaks to his general sound artistically. The music definitely doesn't sound forced in any form, he sounds polished and sure of what he wants to deliver and present. Listening to him rhyme you can hear his passion, if I can say anything I think his expertise is the display of soul and passion. This is an absolutely amazing record that I can see touching many.
