Eclectic artist Sedric Perry and K.ZIA have paired up to create an astonishing collaborative project titled Twin Flame. The 4 track body of work blends visual storytelling, experimental world music aesthetics, and high fashion. From the futuristic "In The Name," which explores the immovable spirit of two individuals in love to the raw R&B emotions fused with afrobeats sounds of the focus track "Higher." The pair then proceed to connect with the ancestors on the ethereal "No Place" and finally "You," a warm and soul-stirring track that reflects on the ups and downs of deep connection and the work needed to keep that spark alive.
"Higher" also comes with a brilliant avant-garde-styled visual shot in pure cinematic style using several motifs, set pieces and gripping story telling.
In addition to their work together, the two artists also support each other in their solo careers. Sedric was a writer on K.ZIA’s "Sanctuary" as she was the director of his music video ‘"Count My Blessings" filmed in Dakar. The pair create a very special frequency when they come together initiating magic for anything they take on.
