Boomtown has dropped its first wave of artists, and the lineup is nothing short of genre-bending excellence. Set to take over Hampshire’s Matterley Bowl from 6th -10th August next year, this announcement marks a departure from Boomtown’s tradition of holding lineup details until two weeks before the event. The Chapter 4 theme, Power of Now, brings a fresh perspective, a bigger festival site with new stages, and encourages festival-goers to live fully in the moment while soaking in an eclectic mix of music, culture, and immersive experiences.
The lineup reveals the likes of Sean Paul, Maribou State, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Azealia Banks, Kurupt FM, and Overmono. Heavy hitters like Honey Dijon, Rudim3ntal, The Blessed Madonna, and Nia Archives further showcase the festival’s commitment to bringing together the best in-house, techno, drum and bass, punk, jungle, and more. Disco legends Boney M and reggae icons The Wailers add a nostalgic touch while rising stars like 4AM Kru, Kenya Grace, and Girls Don’t Sync promise to bring electric energy to the festival.
Known for its immersive atmosphere and award-winning production, Boomtown is more than a festival—it’s a fully realised world where performance art, activism, and music converge. This year introduces HYDRO, a new stage dedicated to house, techno, and disco, alongside a reimagined Origin stage, now transformed into The Lions Gate, an ancient temple-inspired spectacle. With over 600 acts yet to be announced, the festival continues to expand both its physical space and its musical scope, inviting attendees to explore new woodland areas and hidden performances scattered across the sprawling site.
Tickets are now on sale starting at £295, with flexible entry options and a focus on sustainability through public transport packages. For more details, visit Boomtown’s website. Don’t sleep on this—Boomtown 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable chapter in the festival's story.
