Emerging Irish rapper/songwriter R.O.C is working on his new project, but in the interim, he will unveil his sophomore single, "Don't You Cry." The self-produced/written track was written during his late dad's battle with stage 4 lung cancer and dug deep into the complexities of father and son relationships. He explores the good and bad times, the cracks, personal flaws, and coming to terms with his father's mortality.

Even though R.O.C made the song while his father was alive, his death changed the dynamics and feel of the song, adding a slightly different and emotional meaning to the song. As the title suggests, it's a passionate plea to cherish every passing moment and comfort oneself in dire times without being overly self-critical.
